About Tara
Hey there! I’m Tara Zimmer— a lover of deep conversations about faith and real life. I believe that following Jesus isn’t about having it all figured out; it’s about walking with Him daily, even when life feels messy, uncertain, or even frustrating.
I’m an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God and have spent more than 15 years in vocational ministry, helping churches build strong foundations, navigate change, and develop processes and people.
But ministry isn’t just my job—it’s what I love to do. Whether I’m speaking, writing, or hosting my podcast, Let’s Talk About Why, my heart is to help people wrestle through the big questions of faith and life. From setting goals to understanding Scripture, I love exploring the why behind the choices we make and the beliefs we hold.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership, a Master of Arts in Religion and Pastoral Counseling, and I’m currently working on my Doctor of Ministry in Strategic Leadership. (Yes, I’m that person who actually enjoys school.) But beyond degrees and such, what really drives me is helping people step confidently into their God-given identity and thrive in the seasons they’re in—especially the difficult ones.
If you’re ready to take steps to be all God has called you to, wrestle through the hard questions, and actually enjoy the journey—let’s do this together.
Oh yeah…I live in the Midwest with my amazing husband, Anthony, and our sweet baby boy. You can learn more about Anthony at anthonyzimmer.com & theorderofthefullgospel.com
